About This Project

The Master Plan was undertaken in accordance with the process for Master Plans outlined in the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class Environmental Assessment document (as amended in 2024).

As part of this assignment, regional water system needs were assessed for the short and long term (20+ years) by considering growth and development potential within the region, to ensure level of service is maintained and/or enhanced. The review and evaluation of system needs considered all regional water system infrastructure including but not limited to the treatment plant, transmission mains, intermediate facilities, and terminal storage.
